Trail Up

When it's so Comfortable to Stay?

Do not go where the path may lead.
Instead, go where there is no path and leave a trail.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Out we Go

In Short: to Challenge Yourself

As a native of the rocky Maine coast, I became no stranger to ocean waves, barefoot wildflower fields, and relentless mountain wandering. Now, I have basic framework checkpoints that have enhanced my life journey and meaningful connections, which could inspire you as well!

It starts with awareness. What you take notice of becomes your world. There are thousands of scripts already formed all around you right now, some with agendas, or your 'best' interest in mind - whatever that is - I mean, do you even know, or is it some sort of inception? First, you must acknowledge what you are noticing. Your movements and schemas will synergistically encourage (or not) your self-identity development. If it makes you uncomfortable, is it because it is unknown or scary? If so, it may contradict your self-concept. Individuals naturally tend to follow through on movements that reinforce goodwill within their public persona. Why? Because we care about reputation. However, does it have other costs to you and your goals?

The second is placement. What are you doing with this new awareness? Should you use it to advocate a position, share with others, or merely mentally archive it? Discovering and learning are exciting; however, it can be overwhelming and challenging when confronted with opposing observations.

To gain insight, I have found that nature, the third aspect, grounds me. While you may not have an active connection with nature right now, you likely have a connection with something that can 'ground' you. A space that activates a sense of peace (calmness or a breath), so you can refocus on your self-identity. How can you grow and endure more from this awareness, instead of taking a more passive stance? For some, that could be journaling, gaming, cooking, dancing, fishing, the list goes on.

Axplore Co. focuses on utilizing nature as a grounding aspect and guidepost. I hope to inspire daily movements, reveal the value of genuine connections, and stress the importance of simplicity through media. There is too much noise, too much of everything - now is the time for recalibration.

I invite you to please axplore with me. Cheers to venturing out into our big back yard and being forever curious!
